My husband and I have explored Tokyo, Japan before having kids. When we came back the second time, we brought our boys and explored Tokyo and Osaka and did day trips to Kyoto and Nara. It was ambitious but looking back, I feel so grateful to have had an opportunity to go on an extensive international trip with my boys, because shortly after our return, Covid had us locked down!
